The real question is - how long have they been sitting on the PC content so they could create and sync up a release with the X360? A month?

Probably as long as MS certification takes.

And that's lame. I'm sure MS loves it, but it sucks a bit for the PC gamers, who are the core (and hardcore) audience.

I'm assuming 360 pays much more. Generally that is how most things work. It is natural that they're not going to try and alienate the 360 fan base who have already give them over a million sales alone.

Well, I assume Microsoft gives Valve more $ if they release it before, not sure though.

I own consoles and a PC. Therefore I'm the smart one in these kind of situations. However I fail because L4D is a load more fun on the PC, so of course I don't have the watered down 360 version.

Microsoft really controls the time it's released on consoles, while Valve has to get up and they get in at work around 8-10am-ish pst. So expect it around noon-ish for PC.

Pretty annoying for where I live. 2am would be 8pm my time, which means I would still get it today, and get to play it today, but an 8am-10am West American time would mean 2am-4am tomorrow morning for me.

For f*@k sake.. people.... I kinda see the hole, Valve is PC and now I am being stabbed in the back. But really, does it make an f'n difference? We are all getting it, and the SDK, for pc. I guess if you have a life and go to work or school or whatever then you probably don't give 2 s!*ts. Point is, it is not something to get crazy about. I am a PC gamer and I work and have a real life so it is not that big of a deal. As far as I see it, sweet I haven't been able to play a lot lately because of work so now I have an added bonus to my game. There is a hell of a lot more to worry about than weather PC or xbox gets the dlc first.

It's a sad, sad day.

PC owners will have to wait, but, assuming all goes to plan, not for long. According to Valve, the PC debut of the free add-on is "targeted for release later in the day."

Wow, why doesn't valve just run from windows live, And screw steam altogether. Because that's basically what valve is saying to all it's PC customers by doing this, very disappointed once again.
