Thumbs up Stubbs on Windows 7 - Good news!

Dear All,

My son's PC is using the Windows 7 RC and he couldn't run Stubbs.

He has an ATI X1650 Pro video card.

After some trial-and-error messing, we found the problem was the Microsoft WDM ATI Drivers. Loading the Windows 7 Catalyst 9.1 drivers (the last set to support that model) fixed the problem.

I test-installed another PC (AMD 2400 + nVidia 6200) with Windows 7 RC and loaded Stubbs on there and it worked first time.

This is all despite my support calls to Steam and Asypr which said "ask Asypr" and "Unfortunately Stubbs the Zombie was not developed for Windows 7 and at the moment we don't provide any support for it." (respectively).

So enjoy the zombie action for years to come!

I've had trouble running Stubbs on Windows 7, it doesn't like to run at certain resolutions.

If possible can some please provide blind steps so that i can reset the resolution back to 800x600. It's curently stuck on 1280x1024 and crashes after a certain period.

Much appreciated

Can someone please help or provide some kind of insight?

Right i found out that the game is to old for modern computers and aspyr has ignored all of your help requests and have disbanded.
Only old version of xp and 98 can run it properly without problem.
People that can get it running with Win 7 then fine but dont explain to simple people cus they might be a bit confused.
Fact is that if you computer is new then you might be a bit screwed...
Sorry no help at all its just the adv. people or until one aspyr guy amanges to fix this with a good and decent patch.
Get for the normal xbox...
