A concise list of what people are actually upset about
The few people here who defend the decision to make L4D2 seem to not understand what everyone is upset about. I've tried to summarise the most common issues I've heard people having in hopes that it clears things up:
If you can think of any I missed, suggest it and I'll put it here. Note that the list is not for every problem people have with the game, just the major ones that nearly the entire community has. For example, I think the incendiary ammo is dumb stylistically, but it's not worth putting on here. This is not a debate thread. This is not a boycott thread. It is purely an observation of what the majority of forum members and active players appear to be saying. I believe this is the most constructive kind of feedback Valve can get. I think in general people just hate the characters,
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...ead_2_Cast.jpg They look terrible. And the fact is Zoey, Francis, Bill and Louis have kind've become icons and people like them. I would MUCH prefer to see brand new lines/new character artwork for the old survivors. Then these awful new characters. |

Main think I am upset about is the first game will lose its player base. If I want to keep playing I am forced to get the new game or play with the bots.

This content seems like it could be easily implemented as downloadable content similar to Team Fortress 2.
