The majority of them are basically group discussions that are recorded, then posted up on the internet. Think of it as radio, but pre-recorded and released weekly.

The Steam Forums Weekley Podcast.

Sounds good. These things can become quite big and renowned.

Thanks, Flamov. I think the idea is great. Considering that Valve listens to the community, I think it can be quite useful for them too.

That's actually a good idea. It would be really fun to get in touch with the community. But will we focus just on these forums?

Maybe they'll hear us sobbing and give us Episode 3 an hour after the first episode is released.

I think we should discuss all of Valve's titles. Speak out of how we think they're doing, what we think of thier titles, and the general consensus that is roaming about every week.

Sure, great idea. Should it be a few select people from this forum, though? I was thinking 2-3 of us (including myself) and then maybe 1 or 2 others, but have the respective random each week.

I think it'd be cool to speak out of how we feel about Valve. I'm more than happy to offer you one of the spots

If you guys are actually going to do this I strongly suggest emitting that Weekley part, so that you could release it every two weeks sometimes or so and don't feel like cheating. Let's be honest, there might be weeks when you won't have anything to tell.

Anyway, good luck with this, would love to see your podcasts come to life.

I would do it.

Seems more likely that it would be monthly, not weekly.

I think we should call it the "Steam Powered Podcast". Has a nice ring to it.

I think weekly is fine. I guess if we don't have anything to talk about, we can talk about past games (i.e. Team Fortress, Half-Life, Counter-Strike 1.6 etc.). I got loads of ideas at the moment.

If you can deliver them once a week, then great! But I just wanted to point that it is not very wise to restrict yourself to such a tight schedule and possibly few months later feel guilty because you failed to deliver the episode. Just my two cents ^^
