prop_physics don't light up well
Is there anything you can do to affect the lighting level of physics props? I have a semidark room with light coming from bulbs and through windows. My brushes look perfect, but objects like desks, couches and ragdolls are pitch black or fully lit. It looks unnatural. afaik info_lighting doesn't apply to prop_physics, so can I change them to statics or something?
Also, what is the first thing you should do when you see your displacements flicker between proper shading and fully lit. They change light states when I move the camera. |

i believe you use an info_target to set the lighting data for a prop_physics. Also, check to see if you used a model texture on your displacement, that is usually the cause for the flickering you describe.

What keyvalue do I use to connect the prop_physics to a target? They don't have a lighting origin entry.
And I've checked, and it's not a model texture. It's the same as a normal brush adjacent to it. |
