L4D Gamer Types

Post some of the gamer-types you've encountered!

• The Hardcore Gamer - This guy needs there to be 2 shotties and 2 Uzis/AssaultRifles at all times. He'll vote to kick you if you use a health pack above 20 health. He demands you follow him because he knows you're more noob than him. If you get boomed on and surrounded, don't expect him to help you, because it was your fault- even if he shot the boomer next to you.
• The Tard - Constantly spams vocalize playerdeath, and GRABBIN' PEELZ. He uses melee on survivors a lot. He loves the pipebombs and mollies, so expect him to throw them in useless places and at inopportune times. Always responds with "internet is serious business" when anyone questions his ways.
• The Pansy - Some people apologize after shooting a team mate. This guy will plead for forgiveness whenever he does anything even remotely out of sync. If you kindly request him to keep up with the others, he will respond with "Oh gosh, sorrysorrysorry!" He will quit the game after triggering the car alarm, to avoid the shame and guilt.
• The Eagle-Eye - Will always hold crouch. Even if there's no zombies. He wants to be ready to headshot them from 80 ft. away with his dualies.
• The Paranoid - He's the last in line, always watching for the smoker he swears he can hear (there is no smoker.) Frequently gets pounced by the same hunters he's trying to keep an eye out for, due to being last in line. He's always the first to call out a threat, and will chase a special infected to the end of the earth.
• The Strategist - He has a spot. That special spot where no zombies can reach you from. He wants you to follow him to this spot. So he can touch you in places.
• The Total Noob - He's either the first or last in line. Blazing ahead into hordes of zombies to get instantly incap'd; Or falling behind because he has NO. IDEA. where to go. You name something detrimental to the team, he's done it. Rely on him to shoot the car alarms, boomers two feet in front of you, and all of the witches.
• The Zombie Genocidist - This guy will go into every closed door in the map. Expect him to be far behind your team, tucked behind some obscure area. He'll tell you he's searching for items, but he's really just attempting to kill EVERY INFECTED ON THE MAP. If he sees an infected, it has to die. If he doesn't see an infected, he has to find it.
• The Fallguy - He's trying desperately to be the best teammate he can be. He hands off every pill, he heals you when you're hurt, and helps you up when you're down. What's that? He got pounced twice in a row? Votekick that noob.

• The Perfect Player - Is kind to noobs, and wont vote kick. Always willing to give you pills and medkits. Usually the one to die because the noobs wont save him.
  Infected Player Types:
• The Common Special Infected - Acts just like a common infected. Will attack you with no strategy even if there are survivors ready to kill them.
• The Annoying hunter/hunter - Will do EVERYTHING in their power to make sure someone isn't revived. Even if they are no where near dying.
• The 25DMG Pouncer Practice - Person who tried to get 25 pounces all the time but always ends up missing and running off
• The 25DMG Pwner: Always will land a 25 pounce. Completely zones out the rest of the team though.
• The Griefer - TKs you, jumps off buildings and leaves, goes rambo and does a lot of other things to ruin the fun for others.
• *The Wizard - He headshots anything in sight, runs extremely fast, sees through walls. Expect him to be VAC-banned soon.
• The 1337 (leet) - Always yells at you when you do a little mistake, he's the perfect player. If you have one on your team, get ready to win... and be annoyed. He could also be a Wizard.
• The Runnner - He's tearing through hordes with the pistols, running and never getting pounced or smokered and always rushes. He's in a hurry, he has to arrive to the saferoom in 10 min max! Expect him to leave you if you're in trouble.
• *The Team Player - Everytime you get pounced he's there to save you. When a boomer rushes he melees him into a corner safely. He'd rather give Louis the pills than eat them for himself.
  Often you see: "The Team Player has saved Francis x3"
  When the teams switch and he goes AFK to take a leak, he gets votekicked in 15 seconds.
• *The Clumsy Pro - He will set tanks on fire and take them down with ease. If somebody needs to heal, you can count on him to cover your back and keep the common infected away. Put him in front of a ladder or near a train though and he will spare no time falling and getting stuck.
• *The Trigger Finger - No infected shall stand in his way... and Survivors have a tough time too. He spends most of his time spamming clips into your back, incapping teammates with 5hp, and blowing holes in your face with the shotty.
  *The Noob Strategist - He knows about spots, he'll even show you these spots. When the hordes rush in, everybody dies because they used his spot.
• The Typewriter - Stands still for 4~8 sec about 4/5 times each map, typing some message noone is likely to read, while at least a CI kicks him from behind.
  You can tell he's got into bigger trouble when the messages ends with "wwwwwwwwwwwwwwssswwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww"
• The Wanker: spends more time typing ignorant racist and homophobic remarks than playing, convinced that someone will find it funny. Any event that involves Louis spawns an immediate response message, like some kind of racist reflex.
• Brat:Usually 12-13, sometimes team players, mostly spoiled brats who constantly scream for you to save them and threaten to kick/ban you usually ignored,ignores you if your smoked,incapacitated,Huntered,Karma.Screams into mic at unbearably pitches usually 10-13 cases have being reported of 6. I have played with a 7 year old girl.

I frequently end up being the paranoid.. and i'm most amused by pansies.

My nemeses are the guys who think they're the Hardcore Gamer or the Strategist but are in actuality simple mediocre fools. They're the ones who are constantly reprimanding others on the team for perceived mistakes while they stumble around pulling moronic move after moronic move. They inevitably end up ♥♥♥♥♥ing about how awful their teammates are as they die to a smoker who caught them wandering around on their own just after they exploded the boomer on the rest of the survivors.

You forgot the Elitist ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. This gamer type is 90% of the vs community and the reason many people consider L4D the worst gaming community there has ever been.

The only semi positive gamer type listed in this thread. You'd almost think that many players must have a negative opinion of the community in L4D. Nah.

• Favorite weapons: Hunting rifle, sometimes Assault rifle
• Crosshair: No, but is more accurate without.
• Team player, always the first one to react when somebody's being attacked by SI.
• Always try to save a teammate, unless he's done for already.
• Hate Ragequitters, hate kids, hate "Knows-it-all"(But don't push somebody to ragequit.
• Always end a game.
• Play for fun, hate versus.

Hunting rifle for hordes, Rifle for headshooting madness.

I especially liked The Strategist and The Zombie Genocidist, lols so hard.
I'm a mix between The Eagle Eye and The Perfect Player.
I like to switch it up though and headshot a Hunter from 80 Yds. away with my dualies WHILE saving a teammate and handing Louis some peelz.

i am eagle eye and perfect player but i often crouch because i am leading all the noobs along though but i will give them stuff (unless it is a molotov)
