Novint Falcon contest Queue - please follow 1st post instructions to join contest

Hey all,

I'm tomnovint, Novint's CEO. This thread is the queue for the Novint Falcon contest where mousers will play against one of Novint's employees, JohnT.

Please only post on this thread to join the contest - that will help us out and make it cleaner and easier. Comments can go into the thread linked below.

We will be using this thread to order the people who will get to play in the list. It will be first come first serve, and the order in this thread will determine who gets to play.

Here is what you should do

1. post a message on this thread. Please include
1a. your steam name
1b. your steam id
1c. your estimated skill level (noob, decent, good, very good, pro, etc.)
1d. your location

2. then you need to join the steam group (no hurry on this)

The contest itself will take place tomorrow, July 1st, 2009. Approximately 1:00 PM MST. We'll have a 2nd session approximately 8:00 PM MST.

we'll coordinate the contest through the Steam Group. We're going to have a ventrilo server running for people to join during the contest.

I'd suggest getting your name on the queue quickly, then you can edit details in shortly

There are many more people interested than we were envisioning so the actual number of people we can get in will fill up quick

that being said, given the response, we're looking to do a bigger better contest with Edge Gamers shortly. I'll keep you posted on that. If the queue is huge, you might go ahead and post to join anyhow. It will give us an idea of the scope of what we should look to do for future contests.
