Fatal error on just Peggle nights

Peggle nights is crashing for me. Standard Peggle Deluxe works fine. This is the error I am getting:

Any clues?

Specs:

OS: Windows Vista Business X64
CPU: Intel Q6600
GPU: XFX 4870 XXX
Sound: Asus Xonar D2
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3R

I got that for months, several reinstalls of the OS later it suddenly started working, couldn't tie down what I changed I'm afraid. Valve and PopCap gave me absolutely zero help either.
