Coop?

This game always SCREAMED coop to me and I always wished it had been included in the original game. Are there any mods floating around out there adding a coop game mode?

Here ya go, sometimes it crashes when you try to play multiplayer.
http://sandcrawler.net/forum/rcmod.p...download&id=81

Install in C\Program Files\Lucas Arts\GameData\Maps
And to open it, ingame in the consol type "open AI_Infiltrated" without the quotes (it has to be a server that you ae hosting).

You can play this with somebody or without. Credit goes to arramus for making the maps and to sandcrawler for hosting the site.

Thanks, had fun playing through these.
Not quite what I was looking for though. I was hoping to play through the single player campaign with another person as one of my squad mates.
*Sigh*
I guess we'll just have to wait for the perpetually unannounced sequel.

wouldnt really work anyways considering the set up of the game at many points your alone or without some of the team.

You can play through singleplayer maps in multiplayer, although only some of them work.

To do this go into your maps folder and there are some maps that are called:
GEO_XXX-Genosian Campaign
RAS_XXX- Ghostship Campaign
YYY_XXX-Kashyyk Campaign

Once again just type "open mapname" in the consol to play

does that matter?

Halo 3 is a prime example, of having the arbitor and elites around when MC was usually alone in several missions.
or do it Gears of War style where they separate and rejoin later adding to the experience as you play.

i was always saddened by the lack of Co Op, and despite its popularity devs still aren't making it as often as one would expect (and the ghostbusters co op on the consoles isn't co op at all... its co garbage)

i also thought this game was PERFECT for co-op.
and then i thought, "oh well, in the sequel maybe". then guess what? 6 years later, still no sequel, and still no patch or update to include co-op.
who else thinks co-op is VERY underdone in gaming?
the only games that REALLY went for co-op were the old serious sam games, which were awesome co-op, but are too dated now.
PLEASE lets see more co-op games (not rubbish like arma and op flash)

One problem with this game going co-op...what would your friends or other players be doing when it goes into the RC 1138/Boss only sections of the game? Like the start of the Ghost ship? Not very Co-op friendly. Hell the whole Ghost Ship map is pretty much SP up till the end battle.

Just take the Daikatana/Rainbow Six vegas approach and shove in teammates even in maps where you're supposed to be alone. I mean, really, who cares? You play co-op to have fun with friends, not to follow scripted story .
