Lightbulb TF2 PropHunt (Hide & Seek) Mod

-

In a nutshell: BLU as Pyros versus RED as random props in Arena maps.

Stats:

Steam Group:

Tips:
  • !rank and !top10 allow you to see your stats and the top 10 players respectively.
  • Active "CP Bonus" by standing on the otherwise inactive control point. This will give you a health boost and can be used once every 55 seconds.
  • Hold M2 to lock your model in place. Handy for looking around, or seeing yourself as others see you.
  • Hold M1 to see yourself as others see you while moving. Unfortunately this view is quite laggy.

Map Download:
  • If you couldn't be bothered waiting to download ingame, go here, download the maps listed here and extract the .bz2 archives to your maps folder.

This is pretty awesome but I'd actually use it if it was props from stock maps, used in stock maps. >_>

I hate custom maps. >_<

That's hilarious. I'll give it a go when I get the chance.

Unfortunately Sawmill is the only stock map with enough props lying around to fit the gameplay style.

The maps are all actually pretty good, especially Sawmill and Desolation (and votes tend to favour those)

That looks like it'd be pretty fun. I'd imagine it'd be hell if it was all Spies with Cloak & Dagger hiding.

I could see this becoming very popular.

It is hilarious seeing everyone on red leave the starting area!

You'd be surprised how much more fun things are when they aren't easy to do/make.

Anything is fun with the right people, cept for.... bad... stuff.

But yea, I hope it catches on and is made user-friendly so a lot of people play it.

It is :P

Works right out of the box, unlike most of the CS:S mods which require console commands and other bull.

Looks incredibly hard. What are you supposed to do as a tree? Or as a control point?

"HAI GUYZ, I'M A CONTROL POINT, YOU DON'T THINK THEY'LL CHECK WHERE THE ONLY CONTROL POINT IS ON THE MAP, WILL THEY?"

"HMMMM. DO YOU THINK A TREE SITTING ON THE ROOF LOOKS SUSPICIOUS?"

There should be no ammo, imo, so the Pyros can't just spam flames and eventually find them. They should also have lower base ammo.

Pyro's health ticks down as they fire

Also the control point model is useful - it is almost invisible when viewed from below and is the flattest model there is, perfect for hiding underwater.

And you'd be surprised how many times a tree has won it
