So am I right in assuming that if I move these extras to some other location, Steam will automatically redownload them?

Are you sure? I thought it was only the second game that had "regionalised" censorship now (and that was forced on the developers, not their choice).

Not just censorship, but game availability too ...
There have been a few "new game" alerts from Steam, which are not available in my region (New Zealand). And im not saying its the developer's fault. I'm just lamenting the fact that stupid things like "regions" still exist. It was a stupid concept back in the days of Laser Disc and DVD region encoding. Its still a stupid idea today. Boo to regions! ;-) |

That sucks. I always thought Steam sold to anyone.
If you can't get it here, you may want to try GoG - there shouldn't be any issues with them. |

Hi! I can't find the new adventures or any of the adventures that should had come with the 1.5 patch. I tried the link but it says it's "not in my area". Where can I find these adventures?

I have The Witcher 2 in my account. When I click on "Install Game", I get the main store page with no other prompts. Yes, I'm logged in. When I go back to the page, it doesn't say it's installed. Any ideas?

Valve (or is it the game developers responsibility?) really should do something about making all these "extras" more readily available from within the Steam Game Library, rather than users scratching their heads at the Game Library, then having to come to the forums and then find out that they need to browse the steam app directories.
At the very least, there should be a shortcut link within the Games Library to any game's extra content. |

FYI, I still cant access this extra content:
http://store.steampowered.com/app/20902/ As i mentioned before, I am in NZ. Why is NZ excluded? I have no idea. Maybe we are considered too rural or backward for this cutting edge content? =P |

I finally found a manual, but it says it's for The Witcher 2. Is there a manual for the original game?
I looked through the one I found, and it has many differences from what I can see in-game. |

Guys,
I bought this and TW2 the other day. Since I'm in AU, the link in the OP gives me the message that it's not available in my region. When I use... something... that makes it show up, it says it's already installed, but the game won't launch, it says game is currently unavailable (update required) How do I play the real version of the game? |
