Talking Multiplayer Works (Use Hamachi)

Just making a thread to say that the multiplayer works, I played with a friend who bought the steam version of sacrifice with hamachi.

I am running a hamachi server for sacrifice multiplayer.

The server is on all day and off on nights.

If anyone would like to join in to play with other steam sacrifice members please do so!

Hamachi server name: sacrificegame

Hamachi server password: alter

Thanks for reading!

The unofficial Multiplayer patch works as well.

Just copy to the game folder and run sacpro.exe to start up sacrifice, hit multiplayer, internet and you'll be connected to a third party server.

Cool. It's like the ol' good original server...unfortunately, the old one doesn't work anymore.

In your opinion for hosting games on this new server is recommended to port forward properly? I remember having many problems with hosting on the hold server due to router issues

Exclamation

If u start playing on the new server given above with SacPro, I remind you that u're gonna do some stuff to be able to play...

I had to disable windows firewall and do port forwarding properly with the following ports:
*2300-2400 TCP/UDP;
*29920 TCP;
*6500 UDP;
*6073 TCP/UDP;
*47624 TCP;

of course u have also to be patched with the latest one, but that shouldn't be a problem because the server itself has got a sort of autopatch program in chat-room.

On the other hand, i really had no problems playing and hosting with hamachi, but i still recommend to disable firewall and do port-forwarding even with hamachi to play without problems.

You can find additional information and stuff here btw:

(copy and paste the link above without the * between a-ss: for obvious reasons i couldn't write )

Have fun
