Language change

hi,

i can´t change the language from english to german.
The game´s still english.

Some ideas how can i solve the problem ? Thanks.

Hi,

I found a solution some time ago and post it here: http://forum.kalypsomedia.com/archiv...hread-380.html. For those who can't read german:

Open regedit and find the following key:
[ HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Haemimont Games\Civitas2 ] (32 bit Windows)
or
[ HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Haemimont Games\Civitas2 ] (64 bit Windows)

There must be an entry <language>, containing the value for the language you've chosen. Remember the value, i.e. <German> and remove the <language> key. Create a new entry and name it <Language> (without < and >) and set the value to the previous one. Very important is the case sensitivity ! Large <L>, other letters small! Sounds a bit complicated, but renaming the key has no effect, the registry acts usually case insensitive.

It may be possible to rename the key from <language> to <language123> and to <Language> afterwards, which sounds easier than delete and recreate.

This worked for me!
Deleting language and creating a new one with the big L, and the value "German".
