Multilanguage
Greetings,
Could I suggest to improve the multilanguage games in your catalogue? I would buy more games in Digital Delivery if they were in Italian (in my case, of course; but I'm speaking about the main European languages, in general). Many games in Steam catalogue are available as English only, even if exists boxed versions of the same games with multilanguage or even if exists the boxed version of the game in a particoular language only. I understand that in many cases the translation of the games depends on the publisher but pheraps, with this whole new way to sell games in digital delivery all over the world, software house should start considering release 'language patch' as official add-on for this type of market. Don't you think? Last edited by Ric-82: 09-21-2009 at 09:41 AM. |

Steam's all set up to deliver games in multiple languages, e.g. I could set my copy of Far Cry 2 to French, German, Italian or Spanish, so there's not a lot more Valve can do, it's really up to the publishers and developers to put the localised content up.
It's sad and a shame that too many of them don't seem to want to make the effort. |

Mine is not a critic to Steam Platform at all, and I uderstand you can't do a thing about my suggestion. My only hope is that you can bring this thought of mine to whom it may do something about it
