Valve Twitter?

The TF2 forum is going a little crazy about a silly guard dog idea and this: http://twitter.com/ValveNews/ is being cited as a credible source.

Can anyone confirm if this is or is not an official Valve twitter as this is the first time I have seen it referred to.

I am asking over here as the TF2 forum tends to be full of hysterical spammers and this part of the forum is usually manned by a more sensible customer.

Never mind.
Looing at the older posts, it gets pretty obvious that its not real.

Then this: "Im not real valve, just FYI"

This one may or may not be the real deal: http://twitter.com/steam_games
But it makes frequent mention of a Facebook page that appears to be Valve's. Although, as I don't use Facebook, I can't guarantee that is real either.

ValveNews has stated they are not Valve in the past. However, I still follow them on account that they usually get to the update news before I do.

If it's legit you'd find it referenced to on the main website. Assume it's fake without evidence that it's legit

Steam_games does appear to be legit though.

Both are fake. They're just reposting news seen on steam though, so it seems alright. But if they start tweeting strange things then it's safe to ignore it.
