Need help with performance
I recently got a laptop for school and I was wondering if anyone could help me with my problem. I got an HP with a Pentium Dual-Core and 4 gigs of ram, but for the graphics I have the stock Mobile Intel r series express chipset. I dont have any money to upgrade my video card so I was wondering if there was anything i could do to improve my fps. I tried updating my drivers to see if that would work but they wont install, i'm assuming they're up to date.

You cant get a new GPU even if you had money, its a laptop. Most are not upgradeable beyond the HDD and RAM.

You should have checked for a laptop with a decent vid card before buying, my laptop has a 2ghz core2, 4 gigs of ram and a 512 mb hd2600 and it was only $650
![]() Basically theres not much you can do, integrated graphics are junk for gaming, even on lowest settings for most games you wont get good fps. |

Resolution is probably going to matter the most. If you can get used to 640x480, you shouldn't have too much trouble gaming.
What games are you playing? Some games have valuable tweaks. |
