Vista and ports.
I know that the needed ports are open on the router, I set it up to do so with another computer earlier, and it works there. But something on this newer computer is blocking the ports, and so I can't host from this computer. I've tried turning off norton, and the windows firewall.

Quote:
you need to setup static the machine with a static ip and when you forward the port forward it toward that ip address (eg 192.169.0.2) |

Have you set up a proper rule in Windows Firewall?
It would help if you could detail exactly what you're trying to do and at which point it fails to do what you're expecting. |

The apache works fine, (Got a 64 bit mod.) , but the port simply doesn't appear open from this computer. I already said, the firewalls are off.
