CMultiFieldBlob Error.

I keep getting the following error:

ERROR

Steam.exe (main exception): CMultiFieldBlob(pSerialized): Partial field header at end of record.

A quick search of the forums reveals that I need to rename or delete clientregistry.blob. What I'm wondering is:

1. Is this the actual solution for this error?

2. Should I delete the file, rename it or just move it?

3. Does deleting/moving/renaming the file mess up in any game stats, achievements or saved games?

just delete it m8.

shut down steam, delete the file - when you have restarted steam it will update.

3) no, it is not doing anything with your games/achievements/saves and etc.
