Expansions that work with physical copy of base game.

Hi,

Sometimes Steam does not offer a game until it has been out for a while. Sometimes I have bought the physical copy of a base game because it was not on steam at the time and later I have an interest in purchasing the expansion. However expansions on steam are only compatible with base games purchased on steam. Some services like D2D are do offer expansions which are compatible with physical base versions. I would like to suggest Steam do the same. Thanks!
