Here are a list of improvements that Valve can make to TF2 on the Orange Box very quickly, just due to the fact that the majority of the code for these improvements is already there.
By adding some of these improvements, it would add to the Xbox 360 TF2 experience dramatically, without a very large download. These updates improvements do not include new weapons, or stages. Basic:
This way, you won't break your controller by throwing it on the ground by joining an all Medic, or All Heavy, or all Sniper game -- 16 times in row -- due to the majority of host doing this on a Saturday night
CVARs: Add the following CVARs, since, during the modding days, I know that they are there:
Controls and HUD:
Ingame options
Character Specific: Soldier:
Demoman:
Pyro:
Medic:
Scout: ??? Heavy:
Sniper:
Spy:
Engineer:
Other:
Is there any basic thing that I am missing? |

I actually agree with alot of this, and knowing the specifics of the Source engine, I can say that nothing here would be terribly hard to implement.
Well, maybe(now that I actually read it): The spy weapon change would be slightly difficult, along with the leveling up of dispensers/teleporters(model distribution -- updates have to fit within an 8MB limit), the heavy taunts, and taunt kills. The votes would be iffy(they'd have to distribute the .res files alongside the .xex updates, but it could be done), but everything else would be possible given very minimal effort. |

What do you mean by that? Realistically there isn't a point to this thread HOWEVER he is listing the things that we need so that people will know what we need and possibly the differences between the PC and 360/PS3 versions besides the obvious weapons/maps/hats etc.
You could stop being negative as well you know, it's nice someone stated things that we lack albeit obvious things (no offense to the OP) rather than pointless letters and griefs about Valve/M$ lack of updates debates and such, it's a nice subject I suppose rather than usual debates and console war threads but still, I digress. Also to the OP, you forgot to mention the teleporters being sapped, when one is being sapped so is the other and only 1 sapper needs to be taken off of either of them to unsap both. |

What does that project have to do with this? If you mean you're contributing to the society then by all means more power to you, but you shouldn't shoot down other people's threads or insult it (although I admit I do that too sometimes by mistake, I realize it after I submit it). But as stated in other threads, constantly e-mailing Valve is not going to do that much besides annoy them, odds are they are ignoring most e-mails from the 360/PS3 groups as constantly e-mailing normally ends up in the spam box and ultimately is ignored and not glanced at ever again. That's the problem with most e-mail projects, constant e-mails will annoy them and hence end up in the spam box. I'm sorry that I'm negative about such projects but I'm just being reasonable and realistic, however I'll still support such projects in hopes of it happening some day. |

I kinda figured that to begin with, but I didn't want to say that in case I could of been wrong, just a moral I have, as I think it is better to view things with an open mind and in a positive outlook lol. I think I also asked you that too back in his closed thread.
