HELP please with Heavy Brawler achievement

OK, I'm getting really annoyed trying to get this achievement. What's the best fight to pick? I figured it was Gabel in the campaign, but after hurting him some, that other small guy comes around and I can't avoid being hit once by one of them!

Any advice?

Let Gabel charge at you and place yourself so that the smaller guys get between you and Gabel. Learn to use the bashing weapons, even on the smaller enemies and keep hitting them before they get up so they don't get a chance to hit you.

Yes, that's Gabel running into the Small guy with You lining them up.

Good advice from stereophonical. I do the same thing. Also; if Gabel is the first one to damage one of the light enemies, that enemy will attack Gabel instead of you. Make them fight each other; it's fun to watch

OK, I tried that suggestion about 20 times, but something went wrong every time. There's too much chance involved regarding when Gabel will charge and where the Makra is at that moment.

About to give up on this achievement (as the fight was becoming very boring after so many attempts...) I tried something else, and that was MUCH easier!

Here's my suggestion how to get this achievement:

Fight Gabel. When the 1st Makra appears, lure Gabel into a dead end where he won't find out of his own. Fight the Makra until it's KO. Then go back to Gabel, lure him out back into the open, and continue bashing him. When the 2nd Makra appears, again lure Gabel away so he doesn't find you, knockout the Makra, lure Gabel out again and finish the fight.

Wow... This was a pretty hard achievement to get! I'm happy I made it at last...

For tonight, I need a break from Zeno Clash, though. Gabel has exhausted me!

Dodge till he blocks. Get him to attack the little guys. Attacks on his back while he blocks do MAJOR damage.
