I finally picked up the Orange box last night. I love Left 4 Dead, and with three games on that disk for $20, I'd have been an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ not to.

I thought most of my time would be spent on Half-life 2, but after trying Portal out, I was locked in until I beat the game.

I know this is old, old news to anyone reading this, but Portal is awesome. If you like games, it seems like you can't go wrong with Valve.

No, you can't really go wrong with Valve. They give consistent value for the money. They may not always give us the games we want when we want them but what they put out is great. I have never so far bought a bad Valve game. Their day will come one day, no one can bat a 1000 all the time, but hopefully it's far off and not Ep3.

I bought OB for HL2. The guy at GameStop told me how great Portal was, and I thought, "eh". What a great thing to be wrong about!

It was almost exactly the same for me. I'd over heard Glados when my brother was playing and I was intrigued so I bought the Orange Box. I started on HL expecting not to like it as much as Portal but I loved it.

Orange Box = value for money.

i bought the orange box for 10euros on that weekend deal

in the US it was 10 dollars which is even cheaper. That was one of the best deals in gaming history: 5 games+sdk
