TF2 Freezetag Mod

* Basic Idea *
When you die, you freeze in place, and a ring is placed around you. Your teammate(s) must stand within the circle to unfreeze you, and respawn you on the spot, if no one unfreezes you will be respawned back at your normal teamspawn area after an alloted time. The more teammates you have helping to unfreeze the faster you can unfreeze someone.
However, if an enemy is within the circle unfreezing stops, essentially your frozen teammates become mini-cap points. We found that this mod works extremely well on 5 cp cap maps, we hope you enjoy. We will begin to add in other custom 5cp cap maps as we finish fixing some of the last remaining bugs. This mod is still in development, so if you have suggestions please let us know.

* New Updates *
Sentries no longer target frozen players
Disguised spies still can unfreeze but it takes twice as long
Medic Gun Fixed
Point System fixed

That's funny, it looks just like the mod I made half a year ago.

I liked this for MoH:AA but I'm not sure how well it would translate to TF2.

Agree 100% - MoH:AA did this exceptionally well, was really fun.

The circles look just confusing when theyre all close together - they should have like verticle beams that cover them completely in the teams light.

Looks like fun, especially how you aren't sent back to the spawn. Considering that everyone can be frozen in the exact same place while trying to save one teammate is also cool.

Just a gameplay question: Can a disguised/cloaked spy unfreeze teammates?

ya mike remember we talked? we built it off your initial design but optimized/fixed it up/added more features since then to make it more playable on a server. but thank you for your initial plugin it helped us create our own version that worked for us.

and kozmo to answer your question we are currently debating this on our forums. whether this should be allowed. the quick answer atm is no. but the general consensus is they should be allowed but it should take longer to unfreeze a teammate.

all classes have custom unfreeze times so depending on your class you may unfreeze faster or slower.

I've played this a little, and it's very fun except for three things: Heavies are overpowered, Pyros are overpowered, and sentries continue to fire at frozen players, making sentries extremely underpowered.
