Im Cheating on you

Im trying to perform some Cheats on HL2Ep2, but most of them dont work, especially when i type in noclip to go through walls

Did you type "sv_cheats 1" before you entered any of the cheats?

I think my Numlock Button should be On when i do Cheats and typing "sv_cheats 1" isent nessasary.

It's necessary if you want to use them.

Even if you have the console opened in options, you still have to type sv_cheats 1 to activate the cheats. The console alone won't do it.

The Numlock button would have nothing to do with cheats. Unless you're typing in numbers via the number pad.

This. sv_cheats 1 turns on the ability to use cheats on the server (in this case, your instance of the game). If you don't set sv_cheats to 1, none of the cheats requiring it (which is pretty much all of them) will work.

It wasnt necessary on HL2 and HL2ep1 , but When EP2 got achievements , It disables achievement tracking so you wont get them unfairly

... It is necessary in HL2 and HL2:ep1.
