Its sad

I find it sad, Red Orchestra is almost dead. There are rarely more than a few servers at best with people in them. This game is one of the best shooters that has ever existed for realism, and also gives light to the amazing and horrific story of the Germans and Russians killing each other on the eastern front.

I wish and pray for a RO 2...but....

Yes the NA scene is 100% dead.

It's an old game. Lots of good memories though.

There are always a few servers with a lot of players in them. Thats the problem though...only a few. You'll see 20 with nobody, and the 21st will have 40 players in it...and so on. Problem with that is sometimes I like to play a tank map, and sometimes I look for a good infintry map, and sometimes both. You cannot always get the maps you want.

I think one problem is load times. I have a real problem sometimes, having to wait 20 minutes to get into a server, so Ill give up. Usually it isnt a problem, but sometimes it is. However, Im in the USA, and I know a lot of the servers are in Germany and Russia, so that might have something to do with it.

Bottom line is the OP is correct. This is the most realistic WWII FPS out there. I dont even want to play CoD mp or the others, after playing this one. Its a shame that these servers dont have more players in them.

I would still be playing RO, but I dont like tanks and I dont want to only play Danzig.

That leaves me zero options for infantry servers.

It's just easier to walk away than to try to keep playing and trying to find a single decent server.

I think I'm gonna install this again, just to get some more great games in before it's way too late.

It will never be too late.

A game that plays this good wont die. I have been playing for over 6 months, and I havent noticed a drop off in servers at all. You might have to search a little, but its worth it. And every now and then, Tripwire can offer a special weekend discount to get more new players on. Once on, they will never play CoD online again.

But a RO II will really step things up for the ip. I just hope it has a good mix of tank and infintry maps, like RO does.
