Launch or view support information

When I launch BF2 in Steam, I'm prompted with "Launch Battlefield 2" or "View Support Information" selection every time.

First of all, why would I want to view support information for more than once? Is there any way to disable this prompt and just launch the game (other than creating shortcut to the executable)?

YES, it's annoying!

1 click the first time I play == ok

1 click everytime I play == UGHHHhhhhhh

haha i only find it annoying if i triple click on accident, thus hiding the first pop up. then i get a second, then the first just sits there for a while. not a huge hassle, really, but yeah

Mine seems to only pop-up when it feels like. Sometimes it just straight launches.

I think it's activated any time post-rage-quit?
