Steam does not respond at all.

After having troubles with pre-installing L4D2 Demo and starting Team Fortress 2, I uninstalled Steam and reinstalled.
After several hours of updating, I get to the "Logging in" window, and it instantly crashes and says "Steam 732897 is not responding".

After that happening a lot of times, it is now updating itself.

I'll edit my thread when I get further with this.

Updating Steam platform gets to around 50% and closes by itself, when I'm opening it again, it starts updating again.

Update got to 66% and jumps to 0% saying that "Steam is temporary unavailable." Which it says every single time I try to update.

After finally succeeding to update after five tries, it goes to the log-in screen and after 5 seconds it freezes. And I get "Steam 732897 is not responding, and that happens every single time, I've tried to delete ClientRegistry.blob several times, but it still stops responding.

Any suggestions?

If you find any crashdump *.MDMP files in your Steam folder, ZIP them and send them to me (martino@valvesoftware.com)

I'm trying to reinstall Empire Total War and when I use steam to download it all it says is connecting to (my s/n) for 15 straight minutes. On the taskbar it says Steam (Not Responding). When I click on Steam it says "Steam 732897 is not responding if you close the program you may lose information" On the bottom it gives me the options of close the program or to wait and see if it responds which never does.

Also I've been having problems with my username.

To Steam: You are a bunch of idiots that never EVER Respond to any email I send! HOW ♥♥♥♥ING HARD IS IT TO HELP OR AT LEAST JUST ANSWER??????
I've been spending my ♥♥♥♥ing money and my ♥♥♥♥ing time on this peace of crap software that never works! JUST DO IT RIGHT FOR ONCE! PLEASE!!!!

I'm getting this not responding error now, started since left 4 dead 2 came out.

There are no crash dumps.
